About The Wholeness Foundation
The Wholeness Foundation was founded as a non-profit organization in 2001 by David and Dr. Suzanne Lewis. Dr. Lewis researched the topic of ritual abuse for her doctorate and subsequently wrote the book (under the pen name Dr. Suzie Burke, R.N., Ph.D), "Wholeness: My Healing Journey from Ritual Abuse." Dr. Lewis' story provides hope and inspiration for victims, plus shares professional techniques and approaches for counselors and psychology professionals. American ritual abuse victims exceed 100,000, according to a 1997 book on the topic, although few perpetrators have been successfully prosecuted and many survivors rarely get competent therapy. Our goal is to raise awareness of this horrific crime, plus invest in organizations that help survivors of abuse, especially children. We are a donor-advised fund called The Wholeness Foundation Fund under The Denver Foundation. Support and contributions are welcome.
